Le tabelle PDF si disallineano incollandole in Excel
Selezioni una tabella nel PDF, la copi, la incolli in Excel — e tutto si accumula in un'unica colonna, le righe scivolano, le intestazioni unite si sparpagliano. Più colonne numeriche ci sono, più tempo serve per rimetterla a posto a mano.
La causa è che un PDF non ha alcuna nozione di tabella. Il suo contenuto sono solo istruzioni: «disegna questo carattere a queste coordinate», «traccia qui una linea». All'occhio filetti e numeri formano una tabella; dentro il file non hanno alcun rapporto tra loro. La copia raccoglie i caratteri nell'ordine in cui sono disegnati, ed è lì che la corrispondenza tra righe e colonne va persa.
